(Wednesday June 16, 2010) AHEAD, Incorporated is inviting you and all new and old friends of AHEAD to join us for one evening of sizzling jazz rifts and melodic soulful ballads celebrating AHEAD and help mothers and children of eastern Tanzania.  On Saturday, September 11, 2010, Mondel Powell, owner of the very upscale and exciting Teavolve Cafe'  1401 Aliceanna St. East Harbor Baltimore, Maryland, and the Friends of AHEAD--Baltimore, will partner to host an evening of celebration and philanthrophy for AHEAD, Inc. Join the Friends of AHEAD at Teavolve Cafe, where we will host a VIP reception from 6:00pm to 7:00pm celebrating AHEAD and its life enhancing work in critically challenged communities; then enjoy the specialized brand of jazz and R&B of our featured entertainment, renowned smooth jazz aficcionados Spur of the Moment,  with the multi-range octave balladeer Phil Perry, for two shows only, at 7:00pm and 9:30pm.   Be in attendance, in support this event, raising funds for this revolutionary organization.  AHEAD welcomes, as the benefits' HONORARY CHAIRMAN for this event, the Lieutenant Governor for the State of Maryland, the Honorable Anthony Brown!!

The Master of Ceremonies will be Maryland's own Lamman Rucker, Actor / Activist  and current member of the Board of Directors for AHEAD, Inc.
