Tanzania

Since 1985, AHEAD has focused its attention in the Shinyanga Region, located in the north central part of the Country,80 miles south of Lake Victoria; and, Coast Region, located northwest of Dar es Salaam.

The Gambia

At the request of The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture in The Gambia AHEAD began implementing youth development programs in 1993.

Washington D.C.

AHEAD has several activities in metro Washington, D.C., including Cross Cultural Workshops and Symposia, International Teleconferences on Women’s Health, and Youth Development Programs.
