ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND
Adventures in Health, Education, and Agricultural Development (AHEAD, Inc.) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization. Its mission is to work with underserved communities in developing countries and in the United States to improve the quality of life by implementing programs that lead to self-sufficiency and self-reliance.

AHEAD VOCATIONAL STUDENTS RECEIVE CERTIFICATES
On December 4, 2003, eighty-two students received certificates in vocational education courses after a nine-month training period in Kisarawe District.

SHINYANGA REGION District
Most preventable health care services as well as curative are now becoming sustainable as most communities now have access to health services in most villages served by AHEAD including health outreach, school health services and village PHC health strategic plans which are all carried out on a monthly basis.
