UNDERGROUND RAILROAD: AN EVENING WITH KATHLEEN BATTLE

(Washington, DC February 16, 2010) AHEAD, Incorporated, a 503(c) corporation based in Maryland, invites you to participate in ‘Underground Railroad: An Evening with Kathleen Battle and the Morgan State Choir’ on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 8:00 pm at the Music Center at Strathmore in Bethesda, Maryland.

In addition to the evening of beautiful music, there will be a reception for VIP ticket holders in honor of Dr. Earl Richardson, Morgan State University President, and Dr. Helene Gayle, President and CEO of CARE USA.  The goal of the evening is to raise funds for AHEAD’s formidable health care improvement effort in Tanzania; the purchase of transport vehicles for expectant mothers; medical equipment and supplies; and immediate funds to improve maternal health.  Per Mrs. Elvira Williams, Executive Director of AHEAD, “Both of the AHEAD INC.
