Stateside Headquarters:AHEAD also provides opportunities for professionals as well as undergraduate and graduate students to gain beneficial experiences at our US headquarters. The Stateside program as headquarters: • Provides a pragmatic orientation to the world of work. • Enables graduate and undergraduate students to further explore career options. • Gives students an opportunity to utilize knowledge and skills acquired in class. • Enables individuals to engage in research and undertake special interest projects. • Offers training which will enhance employment prospects. • Grants opportunities for students to earn credit for on-the-job learning. Responsibilities of AHEAD:AHEAD will supervise interns and together with the student, identify new learning opportunities that are appropriate to the job and the student’s major. Supervision is provided during the student’s field experience. His/her progress is monitored; a midterm assessment is conducted; and, a written evaluation is given at the completion of the internship.
